The Las Vegas Nebraskans Club is a social organization founded in 1990. Most of
our members are former residents or have had a past affiliation with the state
of Nebraska. Our organization offers a variety of activities. This coming fall
marks the 23rd consecutive season that Nebraska football will be
broadcast on the radio into the Las Vegas area. Details on the broadcasts
will be posted on this website as they become available. For televised
Nebraska games, our viewing headquarters is
Bentley's Bar & Grill, at 2640 E. Sunset Rd.(about 200 yards east
of the Sunset Rd./Eastern Ave. intersection).
We sponsor an annual football migration to Lincoln every year in
September or October. Our Annual Banquet is the major social event during
the winter months, and typically features a speaker from the UNL football
coaching staff. We attend a Las Vegas 51s baseball game in the spring.
Other activities in recent years have included a Husker meet-and-greet in Las
Vegas with the Husker men’s basketball coaches and an outdoor theater
presentation at the Spring Mountain Ranch.
Our club is actively involved in civic and community projects. We are committed
to our scholarship program, which assists Las
Vegas Valley residents who attend a four year college or university in Nebraska.
The club conducts a holiday food drive during the fall season to help
those in need. Besides collecting non-perishable food items, members may also
select to send a cash donation with their membership dues that is then used to
purchase additional food items.

mailers that we send out. Members can also keep posted of upcoming events by
calling the Husker Hot Line, a voice mail service at 223-6992.
Annual dues are $30.00 for couples or $20.00 for individuals. The dues year is
September 1st to September 1st. The membership dues are important as they help
to support the various mailings, the website, the Husker Hot Line, and the other
activities. If you participate in the club activities, you will get back more in
benefits than you pay in dues.
