Las Vegas Nebraskans Annual Banquet Set For Saturday, Feb. 25

Nebraska’s Offensive Line Coach Barney Cotton, along with Chris Anderson,
Nebraska’s Associate Athletic Director for Community Relations, will be the
featured speakers.
BARNEY COTTON - is beginning his fifth
season as Nebraska’s offensive line coach. The Omaha native is in his sixth
season overall as a Nebraska assistant, having previously served as offensive
coordinator and offensive line coach in 2003, a position Cotton has tutored for
23 years. A former Husker player, Cotton also serves as Nebraska's associate
head coach, assisting Head Coach Bo Pelini with a number of administrative
issues. Coach Cotton will talk about the just completed season, get us
up-to-date with all the new recruits plus you can get an overview of the
upcoming spring practice sessions as well as an insight to the 2012 season.
CHRIS ANDERSON - has been a member of the
Nebraska Athletic Department for nearly 30 years. She currently serves as
Nebraska’s Associate Athletic Director for Community Relations. Chris has held
several positions within the athletic department including sports information
and director of communications. She will give our banquet attendees an update on
the UNL’s athletic department, including the facility projects and improvements
that are being planned. |
